Waiver of SHIN-NY Written Consent During COVID-19 Outbreak for Telehealth

NYS DOH is allowing informed, verbal documented consent for telehealth visits in lieu of the current SHIN-NY written consent requirements per 10 NYCRR Part 300. The witnesses can sign an electronic or hard copy of the required consent form on behalf of the telehealth patient.

This webinar is for participants to learn how to use the myConnections portal and ask questions with our seasoned account managers. Typically, once this training is completed, you will be able to submit your user form and receive your login information. During the COVID-19 crisis, we are waiving the traditional training process. You may submit your user form and be set up for access immediately, and receive formal training after.

If you are a RHIO Administrator or Audit Report Recipient, all forms, training slides, and additional documents specific to your role can be found below.

New Participating Organization

Immediate access due to COVID-19 is available to any new organization. Contact support@healtheconnections.org.
You will be asked to fill out and return these forms 3 days from the time of access being granted. If you're unable to do so, your organization's access will be revoked.
