As we begin 2026, I want to thank you for your partnership with HealtheConnections and for your support during a period of significant growth for our organization. Your continued engagement and collaboration are essential, and our entire team is grateful for the trust you place in us.

One of the most visible milestones of our recent work is the launch of our new data-centric health information exchange (HIE) platform. We recognize that transitions are not always easy – particularly with technology – and we deeply appreciate your patience, time, and understanding as you adapt to our new tools and workflows. These efforts set a strong foundation for the future with technology that is faster, more intuitive, and designed to be flexible as new challenges and opportunities in health data emerge.

With this foundation in place, our focus is firmly on what comes next. A core priority is strengthening statewide interoperability, ensuring that health information can be securely and seamlessly exchanged between care settings. We are also focused on unlocking the full potential of HIE data to help address pressing challenges for providers, public health agencies, payers, and other partners – transforming shared data into practical insights that support quality improvement, population health efforts, and more informed decision-making.

At the same time, we know that data alone is not enough. Strong clinical and community partnerships remain critical to addressing the complex health needs and advancing more connected, equitable care in New York. HealtheConnections remains committed to serving as a trusted convener and connector, bringing together healthcare and community partners to support healthier outcomes for the people we serve.

As we look ahead, our mission remains clear: to support better care, better outcomes, and healthier communities through trusted data exchange and collaboration. With this clear direction and solid foundation, we look forward to making continued meaningful progress – in partnership with you – in the years ahead.
