Since 2016, HealtheConnections has worked with ARISE on projects focused on making health opportunities more inclusive of people with disabilities. One innovative project, funded through the NYS Disabilities and Health program, has engaged high school students in designing adaptive tools that help people cook, garden, and even kayak.
