We recognize the critical nature of your work with patients. In partnership with the NYS Department of Health (DOH) and other nonprofit organizations like ours in the state, we can provide you with the COVID-19 information you need right away.

Part of the work that we’ve been conducting includes partnering with the NYS Department of Health to supply surveillance information they need to track COVID-19, and engaging with local and county health departments to assist with sharing community information.

The NYS Department of Health (DOH) collects lab data and vaccination data from throughout state. Through special partnerships, these data are now accessible in HealtheConnections and visible through all resources listed below.

  • Two reports are available:
    • Access a detailed list of your patients who have received at least one shot of a vaccine
    • Access a detailed list of your patients who have been tested for COVID-19 and their results.
  • View and filter information based upon a variety of demographic information and criteria
  • Includes data from the NYS Department of Health and NYS Immunization Information System, which is refreshed once per day and covers tests from all across the state.

  • COVID-19 Hospitalization Report allows public health professionals to see recent hospitalizations for patients who have tested positive.
  • COVID-19 Lab Results Report detail both the positive and negative tests within your county and includes patient demographic and contact information for tracing purposes.
  • Self-service COVID-19 lab results and vaccination reports.

  • Real-time alerts sent to your email regarding your patients
    • When lab results are ready to be viewed
    • When patient is admitted/discharged/transferred from the Emergency Department
  • These alerts will be sent to you through Direct Mail. In your normal email inbox, the subject line will read “You Have Received a New DIRECT Message”. When you receive that notice, log in to your secure Direct Mail inbox. You will see a message marked “COVID-19 Lab Information Ready in HealtheConnections”.
  • Set up is immediate upon activating your account

  • Look up patient medical histories with their consent including procedures, allergies, vitals, medications, and more.
  • Need information from another practice? Click here to see if a practice is a data contributor so you may be able to access their records - even if they are closed.

  • Access lab, radiology, and transcribed reports. We're receiving data from every hospital in your region.
  • Query state and federal databases including Veterans Administration and Department of Defense records.
