Rob Hack, President and CEO, joined Health Advancement Collaborative of Central New York, in March 2010 to launch HealtheConnections, Central New York’s regional health information organization (RHIO). He is responsible for the overall administration, general management, business affairs, governance, operations and growth of HealtheConnections. During his tenure, HealtheConnections has expanded its mission and services to provide unbiased, neutral health information exchange (HIE) services*, population health improvement support services, clinical data analytics, and electronic health record adoption and meaningful use advisement services for the eleven counties of the Central New York region. HealtheConnections connects and engages Central New York healthcare physicians, hospitals, public health, mental and behavioral health, human services and initiatives that support New York State’s health information exchange and population health improvement agendas.
Prior to joining the Collaborative, Rob held Chief Information Officer (CIO) positions with Oneida Limited and Marietta Corporation and senior level Information Technology positions with Eastman Kodak, Carrier Corporation and St. Lawrence County Government. He earned a M.S. in Management from Purdue University and a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics from SUNY Potsdam.
Rob brings extensive experience in leadership, operations management, delivering business value, and the implementation of complex information systems and technologies.
